When I started reading, I was thinking about the introduction, where it discusses his involvement with the Nazis and the subsequent controversy over his work as a result. At first, I thought, "Well, I won't let that influence my reading of this article..." and by the time the man honestly used the word "bethinged" I was cursing that Nazi like mad. Thanks for clearing it all up for me-- This was really, really helpful.
